Change the illusions.
Off the track, my attention has often turned towards the way the world is at the moment.
I sometimes imagine that I am sitting on the moon and looking at the amazing planet we all live on and wonder why we all can't seem to get on. We all get there the same way don't we? And we all die at some point? So, aren't we the same? Aren't we all connected to life?
Life is forever changing and we are part of that life. Indeed, I would say we are a major part of life. Simply by the way we think as conscious beings, we can decide to destroy ourselves or we can learn to get along. In that respect, I still think we are a very primitive planet, and we haven't figured out what we are doing to ourselves or our surroundings. We seem to live in denial of our destiny. I mean, their is enough money and land for everyone isn't there? Why does it seem that there is not enough?
It seems to me that the emotion or the illusion of fear has gripped the planet. Fear meaning 'false experiences appearing real.' There are two emotions that rule our life and that's love and fear. We have also bent the laws of nature and the laws of the universe to suit our way of life and created a possible disaster, and for what?
We also seemed to be confused with what's right and what's wrong. It might be because the is no such thing. Who is right and who is wrong? I ask you. What you might think is right, someone else will think it's wrong. Someone sees a football match with a mate and says the game was awesome, while his mate said it was crap.
Why are there so many different types of religion? Who's got the right one? Is there a right one? It seems to me we lost the plot somewhere and the teachings of the past have advanced us no further when Jesus or Buddha graced our planet. Surely it should be as in heaven as in earth. Not, as in heaven as in hell. We are the one creating the hell - not God.
Everything in our life is a gift and these gifts are there to help us remember who we are. Everything has a polar opposite, left-right, up-down, in-out, black-white, night-day, good-bad. Think about it.
If we didn't have the bad times, how would we know what the good times are. If we did have a left hand, we wouldn't know the right one, and, if we all had the same culture, how would we know what that culture is? Maybe that's why there are so many different cultures, so each learns from the other, so we are all one. There is a shift going on at the moment and it's not all bad. People are mixing more, eastern culture are coming more into the west, and west to east. We can change the situation by changing the way we think.
We need to change the illusions.
